I've been taking a look through this thread, and although I'm no art conossieur, I thought these were particularly great ^^^ Mark Ryden's style reminds me a little bit of the illustrator Brett Helquist (who illustrated 'A Series Of Unfortunate Events', some of my favourite books when I was younger):
