Post Whatever You Are Thinking At This Very Moment

I do like listening to Sam, I find I disagree with a lot of things he says but I do enjoy the way he articulates his positions. I tried to,listening to the first one where they argued on an inane point for like an hour, LOL. The second 'debate' apparently went a lot better.
Yes, the second one was much better.

I'll give it a pop since you were good enough to listen to Scott Adams. What did you make of him? Adams really isn't talking so much about Trump's policies more about how he deals in the art of persuasion and techniques he uses. I found it interesting as I've always found that sort of stuff interesting. Art of the sale, body language etc.

P.S Seeing another great thinker, Jordan Peterson on Saturday. Like him or loath him he adds to the conversation, and we need more conversation right now.

I wonder why "Adams really isn't talking so much about Trump's policies".

"Art of persuasion and techniques he uses"

If either you or @realitybites would like to tell me how the Trump administration differs, in real terms (not the rhetoric he doesn't follow through on), from the Obama administration, or how it would have differed from a Hillary Clinton administration, I'll be right here. Seemingly you're content with all talk and no action, bhops. I suppose you can be content with that, since you live in New Zealand and any genuine America First policies that Trump pursued wouldn't have had much of an effect on your life anyway.

Also, PMSL @ "seeing another great thinker, Jordan Peterson, on Saturday".

I'd admire your tenacity in creating various guest usernames to harangue me (geddit, LOL) but otherwise feel free to keep talking to yourself.

Tax cuts, prison reform bill (which was HUGE) and pulling troops out of Syria are all good starts and a point of difference from the last admin.

Adams as I said was an interesting person to listen to in the way he dissects Trumps communication techniques, never said he talks policy.

Anyhoo keep following me around the boards, I'll have to call you Rifke 2 or something Or possibly go and join some jew hating conspiracy theory board you'd probably enjoy that better.

I found Adams' insight into the art of persuasion very interesting. Poor Sam was a bit too animated--he hates Trump. He was so focused on policies and ethics he couldn't appreciate Adams' points. I don't agree with everything Peterson believes--particularly his religious positions. But I think he is a much-needed, fresh voice adding great intelligence to the conversation. I'd love to see him live. Have a great time.

Sam has since admitted he blew his stack in this one, hahaha. I too don't agree with everything Peterson has to say, but I'm interested to hear and see him live.

So the policies you mention are 1. tax cuts which the wealthiest people in the society primarily benefit from, 2. prison reform which was more of a liberal Democrat policy than anything approaching 'conservatism' (and which the majority of informed people in his base were against), and 3. pulling the troops out of Syria, which he hasn't done, because Kushner, John Bolton, and others around him persuaded him it was a bad idea after he came out and said it publicly. I suppose you also think the wall is in the process of being built.

So, tax cuts = no different to a Bush or Reagan administration
Prison reform = no different to an Obama, Hillary, or Bernie Sanders administration. It's odd that you think it's a point of difference from the last administration when Obama pushed for prison reform but was stonewalled by Republicans who controlled the houses of congress and didn't want to grant him a victory. This prison reform bill has been championed by the likes of Paul Ryan and Nancy Pelosi, it had HUGE bi-partisan support. It was voted through by about 90% yes to 10% no.

It's also likely to turn Florida blue for good (Texas is heading the same way too) after it allows more low-level criminals out of prison who will now be able to vote since Florida in November 2018 lifted the ban on ex-cons voting. Unless you're one of those geniuses who thinks they'll vote Republican, which you probably are. Between the spending bill last Friday and the prison reform bill, Trump has ensured that there will never be another Republican president, which isn't such a bad thing actually since the Republicans are obviously completely useless.

Reagan started the ball rolling by granting amnesty to three million illegal immigrants in the mid 80s which turned California blue for good (turns out they and their descendants don't vote Republican in large numbers), and Trump has finished the job. It's over for the Republicans. Some people may have to adopt a post-America mentality soon; the dream is nearly over. Unless their dream is to live in a gated community in a country increasingly resembling parts of Brazil or ultra-violent Central American countries like Belize or El Salvador. The much-vaunted American Dream becomes a nightmare.

But oh no... will all this mean: no more tax cuts for billionaires?
How will the country go on without the Republican party? Ben Shapiro tells me socialism is worse than being demographically replaced in your own country. Working class Americans will have to take up arms against the tyrants trying to impose a semblance of economic equality/relief upon them. The only thing worth fighting for, the capitalist economy! I'm sure you'll come around to socialist policies if Jordan Peterson or Milo or Sam Harris say it's okay though, just like you came around to prison reform which you would have been dead-set against three or four years ago. But then, Trump would have been against it at that stage too. Almost like he has no firm principles or something, and neither have you apparently since you can be so easily swayed when someone who you respect who's in a position of authority comes out in favour of or against something.

Pulling the troops out of Syria = hasn't happened, and won't happen until the neocons give it the green light. Any other brilliant 'America First' policies of Trump's I should know about which no other administration could have passed? I would tell you to get your head out of the sand but I think your head is permanently ensconced in it and can't be extracted.

They are 3 points of difference from the last administration. End. Of. Story. Oh and sorry to break it to you but there has never been 'a Sanders administration' :lbf::lbf:

The wall is actually getting built right now.

And 'no' Trump will not be the last Republican President.

Explaining is losing and you've just done a ton of it, but thanks for wasting your time on me with such a detailed post, hell it only took me 4 lines and 4 sentences :lbf::lbf::lbf::lbf::lbf::lbf: Thank you for playing but I'm afraid you don't go through to the bonus round :brows:

please don't turn everything into a political discussion. thanks.

Morrissey was in London in February 2009 around the time that the alleged attack took place, so it's a possibility. Especially since it's a man that was groped.

The only other possible names that occur to me that are still alive are Elton John and Cliff Richard. I haven't checked if they were anywhere near London in February 2009.

This should be directed at the guest who started it. Reality Bites and I were having a nice civil discussion before I can only guess it being Untruth came in to harangue me.

Goodnight and thank you.

The onlookers can see for themselves which of the two of us won this exchange, pal ;):brows:
I'm fairly certain that even you can see it, but you're pushing it out of your mind instead of going through the ordeal of challenging yourself and what you thought you knew up until now. Sad!

You’re rather long and overwrought piece included some rather strange assumptions and blatant untruths. If you’re going to start from such a place of intellectual dishonesty then why would I bother?

Seriously like you pretend to know what my stance was on the likes of prison reform 4 years ago? In my experience attempting to debate someone that claims to know what you are thinking is an exercise in futility.

Troops have not been pulled out of Syria, an example of things that are said but not followed through on.

I’m very much officially a Georgia resident. I ran into my neighbor and kickball coach at the grocery store and had to make awkward small talk about gluten and how I’m making wise food choices. Then I got in line and freaking Scott Hall got behind me in line and judged me for buying 8 pints of halo top. Let me LIVE, people!

f***ing Ticketmaster. It wouldn't work on my tablet, wasted my time so I missed out on the best seats for the Vancouver show. Then I got on my phone and somehow bought tickets for the wrong province! Eventually I got a ticket for the Vancouver show but not as close to the stage as Ticketmaster teased me with on my tablet.
