I'm one of those folks who doesn't believe Morrissey wrote any songs about Johnny Marr. I don't recall him ever admitting such a thing but, sometimes I hear a song and I can't help but wonder.

I would add "I Like You" off of YATQ.

Someone told me that Lucky Lisp was about Cliff Richard, but then they might have been pulling my leg.

Yes, Ive heard the Cliff Richard link to Lucky Lisp...its meant to be that Cliff had a song named Lucky Lips, and has a lisp.

And, I thought I'd heard He Knows I'd Love To See Him was about his dad? I dunno, different people interpret songs different ways.

First of all the guitar work is reminiscent of Marrs work on The Queen is Dead (song rather than Album)

and the lyrics:

I thought that since the very first time I heard it but I wasn't too sure, but if he admitted it then I believe him because I doubt he'd lie about that .... it's plausable.

I remember when Billy Budd came out someone had said Morrissey had been know to call Johnny "Billy Budd". I never heard of this before or since.

You were obviously alluding to the fact that Morrissey mentions cars in his songs but i don't think any of them relate to Marr..
