Imagine if a space~alien came down to earth and was presented with this image, knowing nowt of Morrissey or anything. What could they possibly make of it? Some scene of mass erotic bedlam? A topless mad-eyed, sweaty-toothed preacher bringing his followers to the peak of ecstatic abandon? Or a Lancashire pop artist singing 'King Leer' on a New York stage?

Neil Cooch on facebook bribed the guy at the door at this 1994 Tower Records appearance in Philadelphia to get in. This was the only shot he got, and apparently Moz was sick that day (poor thing ). But what a fantastic photo it is! Moz looks great even in the hands of amateur photographers!
