James Maker Sez ....

what was the actual excerpt?

has anyone read it?

someone should post it

You all read the actual excerpt- but evidentally the person who contacted David with the story did not have James's permission. This is in his bulletin. They expire in 14 days.

Well. he is entitled to his opinion, however I should say that as much as I Like James, and I do, he was the one who posted this on MYSPACE, so if he didn't want anyone to know about it...why did he?

He should not comment on anyone's intelligence, really.

James seemed pretty likable to me as we messaged back and forth on MySpace. He DID snipe at me once which pissed me off, but I guess it's his usual manner. Or maybe just me, who knows. The person who gave this to David was not supposed to have it posted here. The intelligence opinion was given to me in reference to Solo in general, which we all know is absurd.

shame. It is a nice excerpt. I enjoyed reading it. I suppose he's upset because his myspace page is private?

I enjoyed reading it as well, and I am not sure if his profile is even Private. Just do a search under, JAMES. Mine however IS Private, and so he had to get my permission to add him as a friend. I thought it was a great read. I could almost imagine the scene. Moz, welded to the sticky bus seats. NO ONE would have the GUTS to move him or make him move. Wish I could've seen it.

It's weird that anyone should think any part of the internet is private. :D

I tend to see the information on the internet as not really belonging to anyone really. And it's like a virus, it spreads like wildfire. Once you've put it out there, you've got to let it go.

True, and I see people posting blogs about all sorts of completely private things- and with no compunction whatsoever. I've always maintained that the Internet is a double edged sword. We can't seem to live with it (because of government controls and possible access of private information- why your hard drive is so very personal. I had a friend who had a Mac and never wanted me to visit here on it because *the cookies* would follow him everywhere. So we'd delete cookies everytime we used it. Maybe he was on to something, but I'm not ready to become a Luddite just yet.

How do you guys think Morrissey feels about having such a low-intelligence fan base?

Theo, come on. You're being too harsh here. There was nothing said about a blithe, low-intelligent fan base, just THIS SITE.

This site is the loony bin for some of Morrissey's biggest fans! And Morrissey calls it "so-low."

Well, they're the people you attract, buddy!

If you follow the link that was posted with the story, it says that the profile is private. Although it is possible he changed it private afterwards? Dunno.

If, as you say, he's adding people as friends who he's never met in person, that makes his position even more weird. How can he possibly know who would have "leaked" the story.

Evidentally he DID know the person who leaked the story and was friends with them or him outside of the MySpace circle.

Well he seems like an interesting person even if he's a bit easily ticked off. A bit like Moz yeah?:p

I added him.

There is a statement from James Maker on the main page...

but if what he said was on his private myspace, and then iamkali and others who after knowing this sent him friend requests, why did he accept those friend requests? cuz now even more strangers will be able to read his private myspace. thats dumb. doesnt sound like hes too intelligent either.
It is dumb but once you're someone's friend on MySpaz, it's like your network, and you can see bulletins your friends have posted. That's how I found it. Also HE has to make the decision whom to make friends with. I swear, I asked for a friend request from him ( usually takes a few days ) and he accepted me almost immediately. (Well, I did tell him he would be deluged with friend requests.) Anyway, the truth has been told by Maker himself, and I guess one has to make sure who their friends really are!

James Maker posted a bulletin on MySpace a while ago saying that the excerpt that was printed on Solo was not his doing, but he blamed it on someone he trusted not to leak the information. Hell, he was posting excerpts of it on MYSPACE- which reaches a hell of a lot more people. Also, he told me that most people on Solo were not known for their intelligence.
For sure, everyone here is not intelligent enough to act in porn movies...:tears:That is the privilege of some elite...:o
(Sorry, I did not want to be mean, but...)

He posted a bulliten saying he didn't make that statement on solo. Now it looks like he's deleted his profile.

I just want to state, in response to an earlier post, that James has never starred in porn movies.
In early interviews he would claim that he starred in "Bike Boys Go Ape" and "Well Hung Studs".
A throw back to apocryphal claims that David Johansen made in early interviews.
