I do agree that this compilation will probably sell steadily and do very well long term. I will buy it myself as I've heard the sonic quality is very high. It will be interesting to compare to my other copies.


Anyway - it's not all rubbish in the chart - look there's Girls Aloud!:sick:

a mass poster campaign on virtually every billboard across London, full page adverts in the music press, tons of coverage about the fact that Moz and Marr were involved ... wouldn't call that hardly any promotion!

the crucial thing is, there are tons of Smiths compilations already out there, and there was no single (and hence no radio presence), heralding this one...
