Not everyone who likes Morrissey believes in all his views. There are many meat eating Morrissey fans too.

No one has asked for one except a tiny number of republicans. The way to start that off is to campaign and start a petition and if it gets 100,000 votes it has to be discussed in parliament.

Referendums cost huge amounts of money and I doubt there will be an appetite for another one at this time and I doubt Scottish government will want one because they won’t want to move focus away from their determination to get another independence vote.

Considering the country voted with a majority conservative result and the Tories have a stated pro unionist pro monarchy stance some people would say the people already voted on that position whereas Corbyn was a republican and didn’t vote for him.

But Go for it. If you want that discussion etc go down the democratic route and see what happens. Maybe you will get things moving
