Mike -

For someone who is a old a Morrissey's solo career, you are very opinionated and by the tone of your post, not very educated. Maybe when you grow up a little you will learn that you are not a god, and that what you like or believe is not always the only option. To paraphrase your previous posts,

" I am British, and I have excellent taste in music. All music I like is the greatest in the world and all music I do not like is trite and boorish. And America as a whole, I will show them no respect and assume in a stereotypical manner that they are all uneducated slobs who never leave their home or experience the many cultures the world has to offer."

One thing you need to remember, one of the reasons this country does not travel outside of our borders as often as in your part of the world is due to its sheer size. You can be in any number of countries via train in a matter of hours at a relatively inexpensive rate. Most international travel from America requires pricey airfare and long stays that do make it difficult for some and impossible for others. And with a country that has soo much to offer culturally, scenically and emotionally, there is not an urgency to leave.

Do us all a favor Mike, stay in school (or go back), do some growing up, and realize there are other opinions out there and yours is not always the only one.

Oh, and from the BBC website, there seem to be quite a few Americans in the Top 40, and some of them are Rap/Hip Hop/R&B.
