It's a very impressive list, David.

But I'm not sure why it is in the Downloads section (obviously it's a bootleg section as well, but I can't remember there ever being a discussion thread about concert bootlegs without there being an upload / download available) ... are you offering to upload these? Some of them, all of them? Are you taking requests?

I know that Drifter has a fantastic site for downloading bootlegs - do you have gigs that aren't on this site (obviously you have originals or better copies rather than MP3s) - if you have others, can you share?

Do you post some of your bootlegs on smiths torrents?

A few years ago you helped me out with some CDs of the MEN show - which I'm very grateful for - so you obviously do your bit for "the community".

Don't know where I'm going with this ramble, guess I'm just trying to get you to give something away, maybe a concert from the current tour that isn't yet available. Or maybe I'm just curious about your collection - why do you do it? How often do you listen to them? Do you review them like Stephane does on pjlm?

Yes, I listen to them. I do it because of my love for this great man, what he has to say and that incredible voice. The music.
One day, sadly, this voice will be no more, and it should be historically recorded and looked upon as Hendrix, Led Zeppelin, Janis Joplin and the Smiths, and I want to be able to enjoy it over and over. It never gets old. The comments between songs, etc.
And they are available for trade.
Michael, Angel and I transferred almost every Morrissey and Smiths cassette tape to CD some years back now with Thanks to Steve C and Aubry G. from their personal collections, as tapes were the live trading thing at the time. And if I'm not mistaken, you are all still enjoying the fruits of these labors here. And I hope that even after Morrissey has sang for the last time, you will still be able to get his work here, and mine. I have been a fan since 1983 the first time I heard that voice singing What Difference Does It Make. I will always be a Morrissey fan.
