Consider hearing that song for the first time today. Still far superior to anything around nowadays. I love it, it's controversial and that's when Morrissey is at his best. Working in a school I can appreciate the lyrics "a boy in the bush is worth two in the hand, I think I can get you through your exams". Brilliant!

A big fat 10 for me.
Love the fury of it, and the chord progression.
Really love the slowdown ending.

"Let me get my hands on your mammary glands" was the line (read in a review) that encouraged me to give this group a try. I absolutely adore the lyrics in this song, although musically and melodically it's nothing special. But the lyrics!!! They bring this song to a 9 on their own. So many brilliant lines... especially the ending, "There's more to life than books, you know, but not much more." Pure perverse genius.
