Can you think of any songs he's written that mention writing, sending and/or recieving letters/mail? Off the top of my head:

-This is Not Your Country (I'm only trying to post a letter)
- Ask (Frightening verse to a bucktooth girl in Luxembourg)
- Will Never Marry (Writing this to say)
- Frankly, Mr Shankly (Christmas cards for the mentally ill)

It's amazing how many I have stored in my brain somewhere but couldn't bring to mind! References all over the place! I think specifically of anything that would be sent in the mail, but can broaden the topic to writing if it would generate more responses!

I guess some of my examples may not have been about mail. It's open to interpretation. In my head Will Never Marry is a letter, but he could mean he's writing the song to say "thank you but no".

Honestly same to be honest. It IS a stand out track, I'm just a nit picker. I just feel he was more consistent on Scandinavia, but writing-wise it's one of the best.
