Matt Chamberlain laid down drum tracks on ROTT that Spencer masturbates to.

Matt Walker is much better than Spencer, Spike Smith or Deano.

I think people wax nostalgic about Spencer but let's not mistake affection for talent.

I think Woodie Taylor and Andrew Paresi are better drummers than Spencer.

However, the best drummer Morrissey ever worked with was Mike Joyce and that is not me waxing nostalgic. Just listen to his live version of Disappointed from the Wolverhampton gig, then listen to Spencer, then listen to Matt Walker.

There's a completely separate audition process for quiffs; the best quiffs are then superglued to the best potential band members. There is no other reasonable explanation for Alain Whyte.

Deabo better than Spencer? Not at all.
I've never waxed any nostalgic feeling or anything, insted of that, I like Matt and I think he plays as good as Spencer. I guess most of people are desperate with their present and they're always concentring forces on the past, but it's not me.

I actually agree with Bored. For my top three Moz drummers, I'd go with Mike Joyce, Woodie Taylor and Andrew Paresi.

Spencer co-wrote a contender for best Morrissey b-side ever and for this alone he deserves eternal gratitude.
