Actually, what I said was

To Morrissey, 'That song's Bullsh1t'
To Carmen, 'You should be ashamed of yourself'
To Juan, 'And you should be ashamed of yourself'.

Given that 99% of us on here probably agree that Notre-Dame almost certainly wasn't caused by a Muslim terrorist attack, it's perhaps not surprising that one of us thought to mention it given the opportunity.

Do the guys in the band really want to be involved in stirring up racial tension? It would be a bit odd.
I admire M's response, which was along the lines of him saying he takes heckling as a compliment because it means his music has lead to something being hit home.

I found it amusing that you then went on to raucously sing along to the following song: 'IBEH'.

I believe there was briefly a crew member shining a torch in your direction, so you could be identified and escorted out. I'd count yourself lucky that that didn't happen in the end.

Buy them on gigs and tours.com for £65
We are going round in circles here 🤣🤣 I don’t want to pay £130 for two tickets, so…..I’ve been putting in offers on twickets. It’s not sold out, I am not willing to pay full price. If anyone has any other ideas for cheaper tickets let me know.

Sorry, I thought you meant you didn't want to pay £130 for one ticket. No suggestions in that case.

Not sure "see you in Leeds!" is the best thing to tag on to an 'apology' message after disappointing a large number of people who can't just dash there instead, but ho hum...

For anyone interested: a full list of 'unforseen' events:
FWD.

I challenge him to round out the whole alphabet by booking and cancelling a show in cities that start with K, Q and X. All others are covered.

So your idea of not agreeing with someone is to pay for a ticket, take up space, and insult the artist and band? If you were close enough to be heard then you either (1) queued up early or (2) are one of those twats who elbow their way to the front because you're so important. Good for you, twatty.
C'mon, are you saying that if you heard someone at work making a racist comment or they were starting to stir up racial tension you wouldn't have a word?

Morrissey was at work yesterday and someone had a word. It's what he would have expected in his former self.

I think your right. There was a moment last night he was searching through all his pockets till he finally found what looked like an Olbas inhaler. Can't recall what song this was during, but at the end of the song he turned his back to the audience to used it. I think he's come down with a cold. He still sounded great last night though.

Those inhaler sticks have been staples for him on stage for years.

haha, yes it was a bit of a weird situation.

It was the fourth time of seeing Morrissey in the last 12 months so it was a bit disappointing to have pretty much the same setlist. If Boz had been there he'd have been stuck in to get me hoofed out I'm sure :) I was conscious of the risk.

Two Foxx reissues coming out July 28th on lovely coloured vinyl: The Golden Section and Annexe. Metamatic is crying out for a remastered reissue. As are the Moz vinyls for Southpaw, Maladjusted,Quarry, Ringleader, and World Peace.
Just got all first 4 Buzzcocks re pressed vinyl lps, some re issues are crap, crappy photocopies of the sleeves but these are top, and all sound perfect. Im all for the moz reissues but please dont let Moz anywhere near them, just leave them as they originally were released, no replacement below par tracks like Treat me like a Human Being ffs.
Also just got The Skids days in Europa reissed vinyl, great album, great use of synths on this lp

I was there last night. I don’t think Morrissey made any mention of feeling ill. He seemed on top form. He did comment at one point that he thought he ‘looked odd’.
As well as the heckler above, there was a guy who when Moz introduced and thanked the the band started screaming out ‘Johnny Marr’ repeatedly which I guess was supposed to be funny but just seemed rude to me.
Seems unlikely Moz would cancel a gig in response to a small number of hecklers in an otherwise hugely appreciative crowd?
I think the ‘Moz has a hangover’ theory is most likely at this point.

People are so mean, can’t we just wish Mozzy well
He is 64 and has had health issues . So cut the guy sone slack
People are so quick to be horrible about about him
If he’s sick and cancels, he gets called names. If he does a gig when sick he gets called names . He can’t win
Even Rick Ashtrays Glastonbury Smiths gig has been used to attack Mozzy
Some saying Rick Ashtray handed Mozzy his arse. Making out Rick has The Smiths spirit more than Mozzy. What is wrong with people ? I don’t think Rick keyed into The Smiths spirit at all. It was just a good tribute band effort. I’m starting to think people have forgotten what the band were about or they are just hell bent on having a pop at Mozzy cat

He could soldier on with one guitarist.

In Wolverhampton in 1988 he only had Craig Gannon.
I doubt it’s a guitarist issue, but if it is, you’re right. I’m sure Jesse could handle it. I think they’ve got most of Alain’s recordings playing these songs from the previous legs. They could always run them as backing tracks and he could play over them if they’re not already.

What does Morrissey’s schedule have to do with his contemporaries’ schedule?
For Morrissey it is apparantly too much.

How many albums have The Cure released this century? Why compare that to Morrissey?

Each to their own I would say.
Then don’t book them back to back. Simple. The bloke was a genius and is now a twat. He goes on about cancel culture but yet he cancels.

U ok hun?

Which makes Morrissey's cancellations even more pathetic. Smith is clearly heavier, and likely less fit than Morrissey, yet the Cure still manage long tours, playing back to back gigs, 2 and half hour sets, all the while charging the same prices as Morrissey (and sometimes less - Robert Smith has personally tried to counter Ticket Master's absurd practices).

Cancellations are par for the course with Morrissey, of course. It's just really sad that the fans accept it time and time again, are seemingly OK with being treated this way.
blur, noel gallagher, madonna, taylor swift have all cancelled in the last few weeks, you would think he was the only one.

No he won't, he's a lying bastard and treats his fans like shit. Still waiting for the Castlefield Bowl gigs to be rescheduled from 2018
now now no swearing on a sunday, what would your children say.

This is a Morrissey forum, baby, and Morrissey has a loooooooong history of cancellations. I bet most people here (myself included) have experienced a cancellation at the hands of Morrissey, something I have never experienced with any other act before except Paul Weller at Jodrell Bank in 2012, which was cancelled due to unforeseen torrential rains, which waterlogged the place.
