Brief mention of Morrissey by Stephen Fry

Stephen Fry was interviewed 'live on Twitter' today by Johann Hari, and towards the end Fry mentions Morrissey after Hari asks him:

'You're also very brave in the book to describe how you were celibate for ten years. Do you regret it? What reawakened you?'

'I don't regret the celibacy no. I regret little in my life. I think the Cell Mates incident (walking out of a play) focussed me out of it.'

'Celibacy is just one of things that the Mozzer and I have in common....'

"the Mozzer"?

I thought Fry was supposedly celibate for 14 years. It's probably all b.s. anyway, perhaps like Morrissey's celibacy.

The more you ignore Stephen Fry, the farther away he gets.

I recommend it.

I'd love it if them two were gay! And then got together. That'd be great!

Maybe if two celibates have sex with each other they cancel each other out and are still celibate while they're smoking their cigarettes partaking in witty pillow talk.

(Fighting fire with retardant.)

I once read that Stephen Fry is a thick person's idea of what an intelligent person is!
Unfair?

I think you may have read that comment on here by me- although, I can't claim to have invented it ( although Mark Simpson has stolen one of my quotes about James Maker, such be life).

I like Fry but I was pointing out that, in my mind he is over rated as a thinker and not an Artist of worth. He is in no way a modern day Wilde as he is painted in today's media.

He does seem like a nice man though, he is one of the good ones
