He certainly has an elegance that is unrivalled in the music scene.
It all depends what criteria people are using - after all people look for different things.
Actually, finding 40 attractive women in music would be difficult for anyone other than the most shallow.
Hiya Cozza - long time no speak - hope you're well
I suppose 'sexiness' is a very subjective thing. I never got what people saw in Prince but hey it's in the eye of the beholder
I always thought Prince was trying to be a rock Michael Jackson - maybe I got him completely wrong
Re: Who would you like to write the music for the next album-assuming there is to be
An interesting call. I think of his current band, Whyte is the best composer of all of them, although he's become more of a bit-part player. To me, if he wants to do something different at this point, he...
Moz seems to write songs with the pre-meditated intent of being singles more than he ever has. Often, you can just set out to write an album and the two/three standouts answer the question themselves.
I guarantee when he wrote Vauxhall and I it was not with a conscious eye on radio play. Yet...
Will Moz be able to live without the likes of Jonathan Ross and Jools Holland though?
Can't help but think it's back to #25 a la the early 90s - hope he can produce one last piece of magic to go out on
A very intelligent post
Mozzer's time was 2004. He would never have been #1 in the British chart. It wouldn't have been allowed!!
He should pack it up and stick to live tours.
Hiya
Cornelius Carr was beaten in 12 rounds by Steve 'Celtic Warrior' Collins for the WBO SuperMiddle title in 1997. Now famous fight at the Point in Dublin.
Moz was a Eubank fan, interestingly while he was shit.
Hiya - just sounds like a man in terminal decline. He should make this album his last. Not popular, but dead honest.
All the songs seem to be either "I don't need anyone to love me" or "Why doesn't anyone love me?" and I just get the idea Moz might be running dry on ideas.
First up re-issue re-package anyone?
Hope there aren't any more - please Moz don't do it.
I find any compilation based on chart success a bit rubbish for the reason it gives a very narrow insight into the artist. By definition, Morrissey isn't the sort you can get into casually, you either...
I think given the Liverpool-Manchester rivalry John would probably have put-on disdain but would secretly admire him.
I'm obviously sad John has gone (clear now who the talented one was in the Beatles) but think his death may have enhanced his legacy more than that of anyone (Kurt Cobain...
Smiths
1. Stop Me if You Think You've Heard this one Before
2. Shiela Take a Bow
3. There is a Light that Never Goes Out
4. You Just Haven't Earned it Yet Baby
5. Bigmouth Strikes Again
6. A Rush and a Push and the land is ours
7. Half A Person
8. Girlfriend in a Coma
9. Well I Wonder...
Urghh!!!
I could see club versions of 'There is a Light' or 'Suedehead' going to #1 if Moz could be persuaded to perform on them.
Short of that I think absolutely no chance - sorry.
That pink shirt is god awful.
Gotta say the NHS specs are an aberation - he's obviously a rather handsome devil and they absolutely ruin him. Fortunately now they rarely make an appearance.
He wore an ear-ring stud in 87 didn't he? Oh dear...
And his late 90s look was a bit of a mare -...
