Morrissey in South Africa?
Wow....

It was a promotional record for Viva Hate, they also made a one-sided Suedehead 7", but I already have that.

I've been filling in some of the holes in my Morrissey collection - my Smiths one is just about as complete as I want it (all standard issues in all formats with one or two rarer items) - but my Morrissey collection is missing some obvious ones :)

If anyone can help with the other gaps - please PM me:
Suedehead CD
Playboys CD
Piccadilly Palare CD
Pregnant 7"
Fatty CD
Interlude CD & 7"
Boxers 12"
Alma Matters 7" & 12"
Roy's Keen CD
Satan 7" & 12"

Also, I bought this white label Sheila Take a Bow as I hoped the poster would be better than the one I already have - sadly it wasn't - so if anyone wants a decent(ish) Sheila poster with a white label promo PM me.

Dave

I know you are new to Smiths' collecting, Mikael - so well done :lbf: Don't you find Smiths' collecting more satisfying than Morrissey collecting?

You do know that there are different versions of this... with/without the embossed promo stamp and with/without bar code. Knowing the type of collector you are, I suspect you'll be busy finding the others ;)

Keep up the good work

Dave

I must say that Smiths stuff has got a different flavour , especially the original early items have got a bloody good , fascinating smell.
Cheers Moz

I am aware of the different versions of this record, I have a decent grasp of the Smiths catalog. I am lucky enough to have a few friends to ask should I have any questions regarding Smiths releases:)

The differences in artwork from country to country is really interesting when it comes to The Smiths, however I sincerely doubt my Smiths collection will ever outweigh my Morrissey collection.

Btw, I think you mean placing of the barcode not with/without.

Probably the understatement of the year :)

Yes, you are right - I've only got one version, so I was going from memory from previous discussions on here. Thanks.
