My doctor is Pakistani and it's apparently New Years Celebration in Pakistan today and he's just asked his receptionist to order two cold bottles of champagne for the staff for lunch.

Barney keeps leaving this toy in the middle of everywhere I walk and it crazks me up because it looks like the Truman Capote single cover of The Boy with the Thorn in his Side. Complete down to the sepia tone.

I'd heard one of my young cousins had recently married someone in California; I've just seen a pic of the newlyweds and the groom is... devastatingly handsome. Made me really happy for the future of the family...

So my trapezius muscle, neck vertibrae, shoulder and bicep feel like they are being crushed at all times now. I had the MRI done finally, but it won't be analyzed until Monday. (They gave me the disc and I downoaded a few different programs that claim you can read MRI files on but no luck so far.) So basically I'm in constant pain and it's even worse at night lying down. I'm on muscle relaxants and vicodin and ibuprofen and got a little cabin fever this morning, so this is what my vicodin-saturated-mind decided was a good idea: to go shopping at Costco where everything is HEAVY!!!!!!

I bought 98 granola bars and hefted everything with my left arm. It was hell, what was I thinking?

I don't mean to push my luck, but my neck feels way better today than it did yesterday.

Daughter got herself a new I phone last week and give me her old one.
I Just had it unlocked and set it all up today.
I don't understand why because it's like new and works perfectly.
But it's her money and I get a great phone for nothing.
Bar the cost of unlocking.

My dad's using his cherry picker (it's for pulling engines out of cars) to work on the floor heater.

I'm getting text updates on the heater. Apparently all it needed was some "liposuction." My dad's been watching too many Dr. Oz's.
