So true, after all if you're black in America you can kiss corporate leadership goodbye leaving you to choose between McDonalds, Sports or Music.

America feels good about itself as long as it allows a few of it's black population to win a medal or two and make a record while the rest are left hope-less.

I don't recall mentioning anything about black athletes......and I am NOT rich by any means. Just an observer of the Summer Olympics like yourself. Yes, true, I'm not surprised when we kick butt, we have better equipment, better trainers, better sports doctors. It's not ALL about sponsorship, and even if possibly 98% of it IS, these people can't read or write - sports is all they know. But I suppose if you're a multimillionaire, reading and writing wouldn't make much of a difference.
