More Free CD's in This weeks NME!

Not one but a two volume week on the NME of the best new bands of 2003.. Whatever, you must get the copy with the Libertines 'What a Waster' on.. You must own this track.. Don't let the kids hear it though.. features a lovely turn of pharse and the use of the C*** word.

I still say the Libertines have the devilish sprite of the punk livin on in them..

Bah forget that I've got the latest Jools Holland compilation today which contains a lost song which he did with Kirsty MacColl back in '83 called 'Shutting he Doors', oh the excitement I can hardly contain myself.

I f***ing hate it when magazines try to get you to buy the other copy so you can have both CD's.

I think these new bands are dreadfull.its all based around neatly quaffered hair , blazer jackets,rehearsed drunken tomfoolary and other rock star cliche's its just false .The libertines seemed promising at first,but seem to lack the honest quality of a good punk band,but i dont blame these bands,its mainly NME,we all know there part and parcel with the music industry .The rise and fall and all,when theres no good bands they will bring a middle of the road band up to stardom,and drop them happily at sight of something of more appeal.I wont be purchasing a copy of NME, especially not for the free cd ,The Thrills,jesus there good cure for insomnia.

Buy it.. despite the Thrills (I agree).. The Von Bondies, AFI and Franz ferdinand could change your mind. But, your comment about The libertines lacking quality!! Man, what more do they have to do... the guy gets put inside for nicking from his mate.. you can't get much more punk than that!

Hmm I can't agree, although I don't care about The Libertines one way or the other, stealing from your mates is really damn low. This isn't the leagacy of punk.
