A general sweeping statement on behalf of me.

Religion clouds politics. Politicians, civil servants, government officials etc. want us to believe its about religion. People get more emotional then - it clouds their thoughts, disables their ability to be rational. It fuels hatred and division, and aids misguided loyalty

Christianity, Judaism and Islam - all centered on Jerusalem, all with Abraham as a central figure. Allah, Yaweh, Jehovah, God - there all the same.

Our loyalty should lie first and foremost with our families, and then with those like us, for we are all victims of some sort of oppression whether we realise it or not. We are chained to Mammon, forever chasing that which the greedy hands of the few clasp so tightly and keep to themselves.

Society does not value us. It's structures merely pretend to so we can be used in order to acheive their design, whether it be economic or political. And most of the time we can't even see it. And if we do we don't care. Because at the end fo the day you've still got to pay the bills. And the loop never ends.

Yes I totally agree.

Believe it or not I'm not bigoted although the majority on here call me a "Nazi c***" for simply seeing things from the other side of the Israeli man-made border.

What you must realise is.

It is fine to make statements such as "Piss on the Koran", "Catholics are c***s", and yet..............

Dare criticise Israel or Jews in any way shape or form and you are termed a "Nazi!

May I ask a civil question?

Why label someone "Nazi" for criticising Jews?

Who the hell do they think they are?
We all have a religion, we all have our own beliefs.

YOU are no more important than any other race on this earth.

It's about time you realised that.

The Palestinian Arabs have as much right to detest (if not more) than you ever will.

I am just so sick and tired of being termed "Nazi" for the sole reason.

All I know is the Palestinians have been disgracefully treated by the Israeli state. I just think they want us to think its about religion (they being whoever holds the reins of power). So I refuse to bring religion into it. We have a history of religious oppression in this country, both by the church, and before that for being part of the church.

At the moment though, the main thing that pisses me off about Israel is that their goalie is a cheating bastard who got Andy O'Brien sent off at Lansdowne road. Congrats to the Irish Fan who threw a bucket of ice over him at his hotel after the match. Not because he was Israeli or Jewish but because he was a cheating bastard.

Anyway, thats my rant for the month over.

Anyway, its the Christian fundamentalists in the thrones of power with their finger on the trigger waiting for the end of days and Armageddon to come that worries me. Nothing worse than a self fulfilling prophecy. And it will be the worked up masses, blinded by faith who will lead the charge on their behalf, sandbags one and all is some sad muscle flexing display of strength and power, and perceived superiority.

The media,i,e television, radio, newspapers, current affairs programmes, the film making industry, music industry (ticket touts especially) are in the main controlled by one force.

Unless you're an American citizen you can't even begin to understand how entrenched the U.S. Government is with Israel and their assumption that America was founded on Judeo-Christian principles. The bible was written by MEN, not a so called divine entity. The scary citizens of this society just cluster like lemmings, believing in something they've never seen and call it faith. I have always believed that Israel is a completely selfish country. And we give untold amounts of money to them, ignoring the Palestinians. The Palestinians only want their OWN country. Their own place to call home. But the Israelites believe THEY are the Chosen People and deny them any part of the land. Oh well, that's the U.S. Government for you. Thanks very much. I've felt this way for a very very long time and felt I needed to say it finally. Nah, I'm not bothered by name calling. I'm no Nazi. I just feel sorry for the Palestinians -they deserve the right to have a place called home. Why is that so wrong?
