7" singles re-release

i got conformation from HMV mine are now dispatched which is ironic after buying them yesterday

On Amazon, it states the release date is 8th December and they are limited to 7500 copies - price is £39.99.

I am tempted as it contains 'The Headmaster Ritual' (again, according to amazon.co.uk) but kidding myself I own the original would soon wear thin, so on second thoughts...

Arrrrrrgh, this thread is NOT about 7 inch box set, INDIVIDUAL 7 inch singles re-release.

7" re-release

the boxset is only avaiable to rhino but the 7inch singles individually are avaiable elsewhere is that correct?..cause i couldnt find the box set elsehwere besides rhino..

you can buy the box set elsewhere as well ,its not just from rhino

but rhino was the cheapest

the singles are being released 2 per week up untill the end of the year

hand in glove and this charming man have already been released

Just to add to viva bob's post - most are being release over the next few weeks -

* Hand in Glove & This Chrming man on Nov 10th (so, in theory, it should chart today - but I've not been glued to the radio)
* What Difference & Heaven Knows on Nov 17th
* William & How soon is now on 24th
* Shakespear's Sister & That Joke isn't funny on Dec 1st
* Boy with a thorn & Bigmouth on Dec 8th

But two are unique to the boxed set - Still Ill and Headmaster's Ritual (I think)

Confused?? I know I am!

hmm any news if the individual singles have they been delayed ?
]i searched for them at rhino but only the box set and sound of the smiths popped up

Hand In Glove 7" has been on sale last week.

Originally two singles are planned to release in a week, but some trouble seemed to happen.

ok before i start , please do not merge this thread with the box set one

i have been trying to collect the smiths singles as they come out , it is proving to be very difficult

i know originally the release scedule looked like this -

The full singles schedule is as follows:

Released: November 10th 2008

Released: November 17th 2008

3. What Difference Does It Make ? (3:51) b/w: Back To The Old House (3:04)
4. Heaven Knows I'm Miserable Now (3:34) b/w: Suffer Little Children (5:27)

Released: November 24th 2008

5. William, It Was Really Nothing (2:10) b/w: Please, Please, Please Let Me Get
What I Want (1:50)
6. How Soon Is Now? (3:41) b/w: Well I Wonder (4:00)

Released: December 1st 2008

7. Shakespeare's Sister (2:08) b/w: What She Said (3:08)
8. That Joke Isn’t Funny Anymore (4:58) b/w: Meat Is Murder (Live) (5:34)

Released: December 8th 2008

but i have found this not to be the case ... as with the box set delays and no releases have followed
