Elva Snow CD finally back in stock!

Don't know if anyone cares, but I waited 2 years(?) for this to finally come back in stock. And only $8.00! I doubted it ever would. Featuring the mighty Spencer Cobrin http://cdbaby.com/cd/elvasnow If anyone has the original EP, with the leopard underwear cover. I'll pay a hefty...

Alain Whyte - Johnny Panic - Morrissey Singles

Yes, and Rourke is given the writing credits for that one. Has he ever said why? Anyone ever asked him? I wanted to ask him that very question when I met him during his little DJ tour, but chickened out at the last minute. Instead got something signed and complimented his music taste. He...

    Roxy Music, what happened?

Oh yes, I still love Ferry's "to-die-for" voice. But musically it hardly does anything for me. I will give it more chance though. I think I would like Avalon because it's much different animal than any other Roxy album.

    Roxy Music, what happened?

I've always said I was a big fan of Roxy Music, but then I've only ever really owned the first 3 albums (Roxy Music, For Your Pleasure, Stranded). I was told by my record store buddies to never stray past that, to resist my strong urges to pick up Country Life because of all the rave reviews...

Stephen Street to produce the new Babyshambles record?

I doubt it's because of any sort of connection with The Smiths/Moz. Street does produce a TON of albums, and is well respected.

Is there any other band that comes close to the greatness of The Smiths?

The Kinks. They come closest for me. The Beach Boys third.

Bowie - I know its gonna happen someday

There's a part towards the end of "I Know It's Gonna..." that sounds a bit like Rock and Roll Suicide ( think that's it) And it's true, it does sound similar. Dun dun dun dun dun dunnnn. That part.

The Smiths opened for New Order at the Hacienda in 83 correct? Weren't they angry that Morrissey had the placed COVERED in flowers? Ha.

    Art Brut

I REALLY like them. One of the few "new" groups I can listen to. Their sense of humor and irony is makes them stand apart from any group of the past few years. I've got a DVD of a couple of live shows, and love how he mixes it up, stays funny, stays laid back. My favorite thing in the world...

I remember first hearing about Mika via myspace years ago. He had less than 20 friends then. Yeah, I kinda like him. Sue me!

Question about Love will tear us apart/Joy Division music

There was a site that had tons, tons of bands that covered it. And I think links to the actual songs as well. Sorry, don't have it.
