Has anyone heard of Demetri Martin? I just heard his stuff from people at work...quite possibly the funniest comedian I have heard ever. Those are some big shoes to fill too!

I agree. I think Ricky Gervais' stand up is funnier than Peter Kay and should definitely be higher than number 11. I don't know who I would have put at number one, but Bill Hicks should definitely have been in the top 5. I would have put Bill Bailey in the top 5 too. I wouldn't have put Billy Connolly in the top ten!

Yeah, Billy Connerolly doesn't do it for me at all I'm afraid.
