Hah! No problem. A kind soul posted a zip file containing all these songs on the old board.

Perhaps someone could repost it for you? (That was a hint by the way) ;)

Which one of those is the instrumental song?

there is no instrumentals, only songs
or you meant Chopins' nocturnes playing before support bands

"The Book" by Magazine was played at the early gigs, or at least the first one in Tulsa.

Also, I've heard the intro music has changed now mid-tour. But no one seems to comment about it.

Someone needs to take the initiative like I did and make a list, even incomplete.

Other songs

At Ally Pally 'The Pub With No Beer' was played, and a song by Christine Young. While at Salford, Mary Hopkin - 'Earth Song' was played seemingly a live version. I think it was earth song, it definitely repeated the word earth

Zip File

And if anyone does have that zip can they email it or a link to it to me please, pretty please. [email protected]

Yes it has changed, he's put a bit of Max Bygraves in, I noticed.

Moz once took to the stage before a Devoto gig (one of his many post Magazine bands, the one after the Adultory, Illustria or summat like like that?), and performed "The Book" as the band entered the stage. It was just after The Smiths broke up, if I'm right (age etc!).

it wasn't The Book, Moz took upon the stage during Luxuria gig at Town & Country, London, 13 March 1988 and did read Proust's Within A Budding Grove from Vol. 2 of Remembrance of Things Past.

(There is a Search function for this forum in the upper-right corner; I've used it for you.)

See here the original upload of the requested zip:

Cheers! Luxuria, I wasn't far off, but I knew I wasn't exactly right. I could have googled, but I prefer not to!

what's that strange bit of music immediately before the band walk on - woman singing in a foreign language (i think) and sounds a bit like kate bush

Mary Hopkin's cover of Sparks Never Turn Your Back On Mother Earth wasn't on it, can't someone please record the mix-tape during one of Morrisseys coming gigs, the song is extremely rare and nearly impossible to find so this woulde be my only chance. I would be eternally grateful it someone could record it.
