opening chord in Suedehead?

hi,
the chords I play are D and C for 'why do you come here'; Em, D, C for the 'I'm so sorry' bit; and G, Am, F, Am for the 'when you know it makes things hard for me' section.
using those chords, I can't work out the initial opening chord.
can anyone shed light?

Sounds just like a barred F, but I could be wrong.
