Yeah, I agree...I was just teasing about what his role might have been...with Morrissey's sense of humour, I'm sure the "rent-a-bloke" was just said to be controversial and witty.

I do hope that the book by Morrissey himself would come out soon...it should be very interesting!

The same opinions of the "severed alliance book". take half of what you rewad in that thing with a grain of salt. One of the times I met his PIMPship, I asked him about the SA book and he laughed and said "people have the assumptions that book is accurate,I don't know why?". he hated the book and said that the author didn't get anything right.

I agree i never read any of these books, i read a book about sexuality and music a while ago which had a chapter on Morrissey and the Smiths. The author got most things wrong, so that put me off a bit.
