Hello Bertie,
I was also at the Led Zeppelin Show at the Knebworth Fair [the second of the 2 on August 11th] and I would have to say that it was "THE BEST OUTDOOR SHOW THAT I HAVE EVER SEEN! AND THAT ALSO INCLUDES 'THE SMITHS' who I also saw at an Outdoor Venue called Great Woods [now called The Tweeter Center] in Mansfield, Massachusetts 1986. That Smiths show has appeared on many a Smiths Bootleg vinyl and CD pressings. I was 18 when I saw that show. I went all the way to England from the USA [Boston] because I did not want to wait to see them play in the States. I made the right decision because after the 'sad passing' of John Bonzo Bohnam, they never did play the States again!
My point in this reply? Be happy and proud that you were one of the 'lucky few' out of MILLIONS of Zeppelin Fans that would have sold a body part to medical science to have been thier! And for those of you who would have done the same tohave seen 'The Smiths' play live, well, it was no com-par-i-son! They will always be my 2 Favorite Bands Ever. But I will have to say that buying a ticket for that Zeppelin Show in Knebworth was the best investment you ever made! DO YOU STILL HAVE YOUR TICKET STUB, PROGRAM OR CONCERT JERSEY? IF SO, WOULD YOU LIKE TO SELL THEM? Cheers, Robert from Boston

Hi Robert. You had an amazing experience. Thank you for sharing it. Unfortunately, I never did see Zeppelin live. If I could go back in time, I would catch the Knebworth gig. So sadly, I don't have any memorabilia to share with you. I am sorry if my posts were confusing. I think Flawed may have mentioned that she had seen them live.

Cheers.
