Yes I know what you mean. There is nothing quite like the old cardboard and vinyl really.
I got a remix cd a while ago, only cd of course.
Ah the old dusting off the records has long since gone eh.
Along with removing fluff from the needle.
Oh and then going to buy a new one when it wore down..ha ha.

I own nothing by Judas Priest either, in fact I don't think I know a single song they've sung..
I still don't really class Zeppelin as heavy metal in the true sense of the word.
They produced very very many melodic songs....Down by the Seaside for example,
obviously Stairway to Heaven...even those that are classed as "loud" are not throughout.
I think their real gift is the change in tempo throughout almost every track.
Anyway, the best of that particular generation of "rock" musicians, without a shadow of a doubt.
Robert Plant has made some fine material since.
