Thanks for that, but I tried that this afternoon and got nowhere i'm afraid.
I seem to have the program I needed, as I can now convert AIFF files to mp3, but as i explained in a response to mozrebel at the top of the page, i still can't YouSendIt, which is completely exasperating.
Maybe I need to try a different storage site, like yousendit, but not yousendit....although I don't think that's the problem, but I'm prepared to try anything at this stage.
Thanks again for your help, I'll just have to soldier on and hope I stumble across the solution.
