All apologies, to any vegetarian who is offended by some of the treats on full display. The candies & sweets look great, you have to admit. At the 39 second point Ghettosocks blasts the song off the launchpad, destination who knows, maybe the belt of Orion. He takes this cut into the stratosphere, and beyond.


-Ghettosocks is Canada's gift to the Rap world, and maybe the whole world as a collective.



-Yeah, I know this thread is ridiculous, but I don't care. Life's too short to sweat the small stuff, or even the big stuff for that matter.

-Made it to #3 on both the Billboard and Cash Box charts (January, 1964.) This is the only hit The Murmaids ever had.


-The song was written by David Gates in 1963. Five years later Gates, Robb Royer, and Jimmy Griffin would form the band Bread. Of the five members of Bread only Gates and Royer remain alive today. All three members of The Murmaids, Carol, Terry, & Sally, are still alive.
