Documentary on Morrissey - BBC RADIO 2 Saturday 21 April 2007

Thanks for the tip, Jones. I'm sure you're right about the title.

The description made me laugh. Once again, The Smiths' influence is trumpeted in hilarious fashion:

"The seduction of The Smiths spread into contemporary culture, as well. Liverpool playwright Willy Russell wrote his play, The Wrong Boy, based on a teenager who is obsessed with The Smiths. And Douglas Coupland's book, Girlfriend In A Coma, was based on a Smiths song."

Quite a pervasive influence they were, those Smiths! Quite a "seduction" indeed! I haven't seen a "seduction" that devastatingly sexy since Jabba the Hutt licked Princess Leia's cheek.

Yes, thanks Jones - much appreciated.

Just need to set myself a reminder so I don't miss it on the night.

I'm afrad I don't have upload facility on my laptop.
