Well, at least they're in the top third, though the Smiths are only in competition with about 3 of their true contemporaries in that third- namely Radiohead, Sublime, and Talking Heads, imo. A friend put it best about the Smiths: Critically acclaimed, publicly ignored. www.Strangeways.tk
