To Find Lutewhine on Kazaa if You Can't

1. Make sure that you have Version 2.1.0 of Kazaa Lite.
2. Within Kazaa, go to tools and then KaZupernode.
3. In KaZupernode, enter Lutewhine's IP:port which is 213.78.16.89:1214 into the New SuperNode IP:port field.
4. Click on "Check Status" to bring up Lutewhine's name, country and status. If you get an error in the status field, it means Lutewhine is offline.
5. Click on the button with the Kazaa logo on it. If you hover your pointer over this button, it will say "Set new SN and restart Kazaa"; this is the button.
6. Kazaa will restart and will try to connect to Lutewhine's SuperNode directly. If it can't, fret not! It will automatically connect to the closest SuperNode in range.
7. Go to Search. Check the "Auto Search More" box. Enter "Importance Morrissey" into the search field (without the quotes) and press enter. Lutewhine's files should come up.

I'll be online after 6pm eastern time and will leave my computer on all night so that people who can't get Lutewhine's files will have a shot at mine. I only have the big files, though, so bear that in mind if you have dial-up. In that case, you're much better off with Lutewhine's small files.
My IP:port is 192.168.0.2:2898 and the name to look for is Hardwarechick, country US.

Are you on-line now?

I have DSL, so it shouldn't take too long.

Cheers!

Glad to see you eventually got that last part after others cottoned onto your suggestion! Thanks for telling me about that feature - I'm sure it'll save a lot of hair-tearing.

How are the files looking at your end?

Re: Where to find KaZuperNodes, if you don't have it

Although I have the latest Kazaa-Lite version, I didn't have
the KaZuperNodes tool.

If you don't have it, download it at the link bellow.

Re: Where to find Kazaa-lite and Video/Audio Codecs

At the link bellow, you can download the latest version
of Kazaa lite and the latest DivX codecs to watch the files.

Wow, nonesoever

Nice one! Thanks for filling in all the blanks I left! I was in a rush to get to work, in any case. But even so, it never would have occurred to me to post all that. You rock!

If you need to, you can download from me when I get home from work tonight, after 6pm eastern standard time.

I have the documentary in its entirety thanks to you. What can I say? Thank you so much. And thank you for your patience while I tried to figure out how to connect to you. It is much appreciated.
Like I said in my post above, I only have the big files. Do you think I should download the small files, too? When I checked my computer this morning, about three different people had downloaded the documentary from me, and that was before I'd posted my IP:port address!
It'll be good to get it out there to people for free who would otherwise have no other way of seeing it.

Re: Wow, nonesoever

Thanks, I'm just bored, not having all the files and
Thought everyone here might need a hand.
Downloaded some from Lutewhine, watched those bits.
It seems like a really nice documentary.

The sound is awful, but I guess that's what you get
for that size.

I'll take you up on that, if I won't be able to
download the rest from Lutewhine, who it seems
has turned his computer off.

I think I pissed him off.
Sorry Lutewhine.

Ignore Mozzerian

Tongue was firmly in cheek when I posted earlier - probably looks far bitchier than I intended it to be. Unless my PC has crashed in my absence (I've left it on at home), then the files should still be available to download. I'm far from happy with the sound on that version, a necessity to keep the file size way down though I'm afraid. For the time being, it's watchable and listenable, so people can actually see what all the fuss is about and make the decision as to whether they want a better quality copy.

Speaking of which - on Friday, I'll be making the enormous, hard disk worryingly top notch version available (with no file size compromises made whatsoever), so if you're interested (and are incredibly patient) look out for me posting that day.

Completely up to you, really. If you fancy queuing up to get them, I'm all for it!

Re: Mozzerian who?

Thanks, downloading right now.
I see other people already have it, so progress is being made.

It seems strange that the sound is so poor, like it's 32 Kbps.
It has the sound of Real Producer compressiom.

But I'm not complaining, compression is a complicated thing.
Sometimes more size means less.

Watched the bits I downloaded, and it seems very nice and
interesting. I see they put in interviews with fans.
Morrissey sometimes looks great and in others not so great,
I don't know if I should attribute it to the image compression.

Thanks again.

Re: Got queued again.

Had a bit of a problem with my computer and now
I'm back at the end of the que.
I see the demand is high.

I queued mine before I left for work this morning. I hope it's downloading OK. I'll check it on my lunch.

I hope it does.
This documentary has to be good ...
If you work for something, you enjoy it more, I think.

I've started sharing the first file.
but my DSL isn't top notch.
25Kb/s download, 8Kb/s upload.

Well, I went home to check and a couple of them said "More Sources Needed" and the others just said "Remotely Queued" so I'm not having much luck. Perhaps I can snag it from Stella tonight. I have a super fast computer so hopefully the large files won't be a problem. I only have one more day to get these and then I'm going on vacation! I was hoping to see the complete documentary before I left. I refuse to give up!

Re: Got queued again.

Got remotely queued as well, but now I'm downloading slowly from Lutewhine.
Someone is also downloading from me.
Soon I'll have part 1 and 2 completed, so people can download from me,
though mine isn't the fastest connection out there.
You can watch what you've downloaded even if the file isn't complete.

Funny story about that. I tried to watch the 1st part last night while it was downloading. (there was about 30 minutes left to go) It wouldn't work at all. I find that happens sometimes -- even on audio files. Anyway, I must have forgotten to press stop when I found out it didn't work and I just went to bed. Well! At 1:30 am I hear the documentary come on. It was full blast. Scared the crap out of me! Long story short -- I'm tired today now! That woke me out of a deep sleep.

Re: Got queued again.

You thought Morrissey has broken in

It did work for me, although the media player said the files was being used by another program, so I had to shut down Kazaa to watch it.

Well, you're going on vacation, that should sort some things out.
