The Morrissey Morrissey Show

OK, just watched EVERYDAY IS LIKE SUNDAY!!! Fan-f***ing-tastic!
Not sure I approve of Boz's facial hair, but the banjo was nice.
Yes, Morrissey was really on for these two shows. He'd better get his sorry ass in a studio pronto, cuz if FIRST OF THE GANG TO DIE is any indication,
it's gonna be a masterpiece. And nice clothes both nights there, Mozza!
He really sang those tunes with a lot of heart. Simply beautiful.

Sorry I had to sit through Jessica Simpson. I'm not actually sure if I've
even heard a Jessica Simpson song before. All I knw about her is she's a
virgin, which she went on about tonight. Well, anyway, I wish Kilborn had asked her to respond to Morrissey's comments last night about pop music!

So, yes, my tape of those two performances and the interview is a keeper.
what I don't get, though, is, after so many weeks of begging Morrissey
to go on, and after so many bits about it, how come Kilborn didn't just
have a whole hour with the guy. Like a two segment interview, getting
beyond the usual Morrissey sits in bed all day channel surfing stuff.
But that's just nit-picking I suppose. I like Tom Green and ICe Cube and all, but it was pretty tedious sitting through them, waiting.

However, a thought crossed my mind as I watched Kilborn ask the oblivious Ice Cube if he knows Morrissey. Remember how Howard Stern used to have listeners call in to TV talk shows and ask any guest who happened to be on what they thought of Stern? It would be kinda interesting to do that for Morrissey, and see how people react. While it would be copying for us to start calling up Larry King Live, Kilborn oughta keep asking random guests what they think of Morrissey. I wanna know who's heard of him and who hasn't!

awesome seeing moz in all his manly glory.........the first of the gang sounded okay...not as cool as the live mp3 @ ambitiousoutsiders.com...missed Everyday is Like Sunday cause i had to besides i dont likes that tune...it would of been better for moz to play Billy Budd or The More You ignore Me The Closer I get maybe even Dagenham Dave... right!!!!

> my thoughts exactly....i really enjoy reading your mb postings, they're usually quite clever and interesting my friend.

While I sat through Jessica Simpson tonight, all I could hear in the back of my mind was Morrissey from last night making the gunshot sound effect. Craig should have thrown that in tonight right before she walked out on stage. That blonde bimbo wouldn't have even noticed.

Virgin? She's only like 22 y/o, but from the looks of all those wrinkles on her neck she looks more like 39...or is that the effect of lack of sex?
