Argh. I basically just lit a match to about $2500 on a high quality (as far as brand - think Volvo before Ford took it over) but old horse trailer that I bought oh... 10 days ago which needs some work/rebuilding to make it safe. Did lots of research before buying it and there are shops which specialize in restoring this particular brand, which is super desirable & worth whatever $ you put into it. As it turns out the Danish company which makes it announced LAST f***ING WEEK that they aren't selling them in the US anymore. I can't get parts for it, at all, b/c the US models are unique and built in a plant here which is now suddenly closed. I don't even know how to get rid of the thing. Seriously, how does one dispose of about 1500 lbs of plywood, steel, and fiberglass?

Hmmm...I'd say, try selling it to an unsuspecting horse, but that wouldn't be a very nice thing to do...

Take it to a hotrod shop. I'm not kidding. They are miracle workers with fabricating parts for cars that don't exist anymore, they can make and fix ANYTHING and make it roadready. Somebody quote me so she'll see this.

Good news update in case anyone cares. The dentist sold me to her specialist as a charity case and he's going to do the job for $400 instead of her predicted $800. Borrowed the money from Dad and so, on Thursday at 10:30 I'm having my tooth scoured and scraped and cleaned repacked and hopefully pray the gold crown that was prepped 8 months ago will fit.

HA! I'm taking it to a shop today to see what they can do & if it's worth the $ & effort. If I don't decide to sink it in the nearest lake, I'll post before & after pics of my hotrod horse trailer. Flame decals, neon, huge subs, spinners & all.
