I AM PROUD TO SAY THAT I NEVER EVER CALLED HIM THAT CHEAP ASS GHETTO NICKNAME "MOZ" IT SOUNDS STUPID! AND MORRISSEY HIMSELF SAYS THAT HE DOESNT LIKE IT AND THAT HE PREFERS TO BE CALLED MORRISSEY! SO PLEASE STOP CALLING HIM MOZ!

Why did he have shirts on the 2000 tour called Mozzer? in an interview with Details he said he was quite fond of that name, which was given to him by the british press, albeit this was 1993!

There is also a tour shirt I picked up during the Oye tour & it says MOZ on the sleeve. He must not mind if he approved that to be on a tour shirt. Hmmmm....

Ahh therein lies yet another story.

If Morrissey hates the name "Moz" then why on earth would have let the Promo of "Certain" people be releasesd with the name "Moz" emblazened across it ?.

This promo was copied from the old T-Rex style singles.There is a nice picture of both the Morrissey and T-Rex singles in this months "Record Collector".

If ever a singer lived in the past then it's Morrissey. The Smiths and their imagery must have passed you by then ? Still I suppose the fact that he has pictures of Bobby Moore and Diana Dors in his house means he is bang up to right ?

erm,if we bumped into him on the street we wouldn't say "hello Moz".I just put Moz because its easier to type,I'm lazy.

What are you talking about? Coming here during work hours is called multi-tasking and it takes up less time than going to the water cooler.

Yeah, and in a Kirsty MacColl album liner notes a couple years ago, she thanks "Mozza."
