but I like the 'Hand In Glove' version played on this tour more than the original. So shoot me. I never have been a huge fan of the song, but I feel the music, and especially Moz's voice, in 2002 suits the song better.

I like both versions but I agree Moz is more polished now, so sometimes I like the raw early sound & sometimes I like the new Mozzer.

You know, I like it too. I have not heard it live yet, but I downloaded the MP3, and thought it sounded great. A lot of people here have probs with his band playing Smiths songs, but whatever. I have thought that they have done a rather good job so far. I never really cared for the song "London" until I heard them play it in 97', and it gave me a totally new appreciation for it. I wish I could have heard HIG, but hey......I got to see "Please, Please, Please Let Me Get What I Want" live, so I can't really complain.
