Hello all,
I just joined and a huge Smiths/Moz fan. I have seen the Smiths 3 times and Morrissey 5. I live in San Francisco and please to announce that we have completed our Smiths tribute/cover band in San Francisco. There are 5 in the band and we are all real fans. We are thinking of adding a live violinist to do the string parts. What do you think?

We are throwing around name ideas, like Bigmouth, Ten Ton Truck, etc.

We would love to know what you think is a good Smiths tribute name.

Gratefully yours,
hlf

Re: you claim to be a huge fan yet you've only seen him 5 time

you need only to listen to Morrissey and the Smiths once to be a huge fan, really. Are we now to judege one another here? I hope not! If you live in SF and come to see me sing The Smiths' songs then you would know how much of a fan I truly am. Next stone please?

Re: what exactly is "juedege" when it's at home dickhead

Hi hislatestflame,
The people on this board are total asshole wankers. You would have better luck here...

http://bristolforum.co.uk/smith/index.php?

The people there are nice and that is where I usually post. This place has turned to total shit. It was nice back in the day 97-99 but now these teenie boppers are trying to run this forum and just think they are "Bigger Moz Fans" than anyone.
You have seen The Smiths 3 times, so I would guess you are around my age..
Go to the other forum this place blows..
Good luck with your band

ps, I do not run the other forum, just post there..

Couldnt have said it better myself. Alot of the people on this board are absolutely pathetic. They only come on here to TRY to put people down & usually have nothing interesting to say and have nothing to say about Moz or The Smiths.

Ten Ton Truck is good.
