Santa Barbara PIT TICKETS ARE NOT PIT!!!!

I bid on pit tickets for the SB show, which ended up going for a hefty sum. The seller was really really nice (good to know there are still ethical people out there), called me and said that he found out the seating chart everyone has been looking at is wrong. SANTA BARBARA BOWL DOESN'T HAVE A PIT ANYMORE! He had called and SBB said they had renovated, extending the stage and have re-arranged the seating. If you go to http://www.sbbowl.com you will see the new chart.

He asked them about people with "pit" tickets and where they would be seated. SBB said that they are more or less GA tixs now.

Based on the different base prices for SB tickets, I find that hard to believe. But if it is true, then anyone going to the SB show needs to get there early. Is this shaping up to be a sham on the part of the SBB?

Can anyone provide more clarity on this subject?
