Producing your own Smiths/Moz bootlegs?

Has anyone had a go at designing and producing their own bootlegs? Had their own vinyl cut say of Live In Wolverhampton and designed printed their own sleeve?

Is it even legal?

I'm looking to do it with a few bootlegs but literally need the 1 vinyl cutting, design and printing will be done by me.

In the UK, I think it is neither legal nor criminal (i.e. you could be sued, but it would never be a police matter), as long as the stuff has never had a commercial release. No idea how easy it would be to find somewhere that is happy to cut bootlegs. Maybe it wouldn't be a problem dunno.
