Oye Esteban - disabling region-lock on DVDs

As this DVD is only seemingly available on Region 1 (US) DVD models, have people successfully disabled the region-locks on their own models, or has anyone had problems?

There's plenty of free guidance on the internet about how to unlock various DVD players - I just wondered if anyone had bought Oye Esteban and then not been able to play it after thinking they would be ok.

I don't want to buy it and then can't play it.

(I think I've asked about this before but can't trace the thread now - apologies)

I'm in the UK Wild O, never had any probs playing it on my players, like you say it's easy enough to get the codes to set your player/recorder to the right region.

I used some code I got from the internet and the DVD played just fine.

Try this site.Go past the first few pages then look on the left for region hacks and forums.There is a search engine so you can find out if your player can be hacked. Good luck.
