Well I hope you like it. I wasn't sure about posting it here as it did not get a good response from users on Morrissey Music. Rob did it for me though, so hopefully you people will all have a look and like what you see.

Yes I'm sure people here will appreciate it elko, we are a different breed to the Morrissey Music folk. They, I find, are a little strange. We are your normal everyday, easy going folk, maybe the vast majority are northern English, I really don't know, but the majority of folk on here are very friendly, the "salt of the earth" as we say....Thank you for your trouble, it is much appreciated.

Ah, I see. Without wanting to generalise to rashly, I have found that in general American Moz fans are less aware of The Smiths, or less receptive to them anyway. With a few notable execptions, of course.

Yes I really think it was the Brits who really understood them. Obviously, living in the same environment and all. It quite amazed me that Americans got the picture at all to be honest. Are you American, elko?

Nope, I'm a soft southerner (Bristol).

Oh, so you are British elko.
Have you seen him on the recent tour?
If so, which gigs?

No, I don't have much of an interest in Morissey as a solo artist. I like his solo stuff, but just as much as I like so many other artists. The Smiths as a group are to me just a class above solo work by Morrissey or Marr.

Sorry, where are my manners! Are you planning to see him? Have you, where, etc?

Well I have seen him on ten occasions in the past five months.
I went to his birthday gig at the MEN on 22 May, then 2 at the Royal Festival Hall in London, then Move Festival, again in Manchester, then Leeds Festival, following that it was Edinburgh, Perth, Bridlington, Liverpool and Preston, which was his last gig here (sadly).

Did you go to any of those?

In a word, Nope. As I said, Morrissey as a solo artist is of no great interest to me.

So you really were into The Smiths, I take it.
Surely HE was The Smiths? No?

He was not the Smiths. Maybe he and Johnny were The Smiths, but even that is discounting the part Andy and Mike had in it. And yes, I AM really into The Smiths.
