Enjoy! Caught him here in Auckland last year as part of the "Seven Worlds Collide" tour. great stuff ..... esp. his cover of "There Is A Light That Never Goes Out" with Johnny on guitar.

Re: yep I need a Finn fix

The DVD FINALLY just became available here in the USA ... I look forward to seeing him LIVE again... the first time was Crowded House in Seattle in '91 and then again in '93 in L.A. ... his solo stuff is excellent- can't wait to see it!!

I've lost count of the number of tims I've seen him perform. Only once wih Crowded House, sadly, but the best time was at a gig in a field in South Auckland (a poor, mostly Maori/Pacific islander area) - just him with an acoustic guitar for the first half, and for the second half he had Te Waka Huia, a massed Maori choir, as backing singers, and a bunch of Tongan log drummers for percussion. They did "Private Universe" and "Together Alone" and it was the most amazing performance I've ever seen in my life. i was sick as a dog for a week after from getting so cold and wet, but it was worth every second of it.

Re: Bullets In His Hairdo

Yes he definitely has a lot of native New Zealand influence throughout his music- especially on the "Finn Brothers" CD he did with Tim...
