I dont' know about the rest of you. But, I was very pleased to hear Morrissey singing about politics again. I'm sure if I searched deeper, I would find lots more but these album has a certain theme to it. I say it is the personal becomes political theme..
I can't live without a daily dose of news these days. And, I guess as depressing as the news can be, it still fascinates me. Like, I cant' believe someone would do that, or I can't believe our government would allow this to happen.
Of course, America is not the world is the obvious choice here, but there's more on/in the Quarry too. Irish Blood, English Heart. Lazy Dykes..
I'm comforted by Morrissey's stabs at nationalism, at racism, and at world politics, etc.., and I guess I wondering if anyone else out there sees it this way too.
