Morrissey's Kiss Me A Lot will be newly available on iTunes from the evening of March 26th onwards.
Morrissey has commented:

"I humbly ask for all and any support with this download release, which, has always been waiting in the wings if not for unpleasant circumstances familiar enough not to be repeated here. Thank you to Atom Factory for making this happen, and here's to sound reason, good times, and music that matters."

TTY POST DELETED - Morrissey Electra Deal
I don't have any proof, I did not screenshot it in time.

It was only a few lines.

It said something on the lines of: Morrissey has signed a deal with Electra Records.
It had a few extra things but I cannot recall.

I went on the site and saw the news rushed on here, no news. Went to TTY to copy it and it was gone!

"Please download my single, even though you all bought it at least 3 times last summer, and even though I can't be arsed to show up for a television appearance to sing it."
-Morrissey

These are the things I think in my head, but I can't get angry at him...so I never say it.

Kiss is one of my favs on WP. In a time when porn dominates the male mind, i find a song about someone (let's say a man) wanting to be kissed and nothing else, very refreshing. Oh yes, and now please tell me that "kiss" in homosexual slang means to suck someone off or whatever. anyway, i was on holiday and in love in berlin once for a couple of days, and the song captures my feelings of being in a rush and also in love at the same time very nicely.

The song always brings a smile to my face. When I watch that one video of clips of people rushing the stage to kiss/touch him, I get butterflies and my cheeks hurt from smiling. I think it's a lovely song and you're spot-on about it!

Oh, I'm not angry! I find it amusing.

I do like the song.

Every time I hear the song I think about damon. Must be about him

It was the first song I listened to from WPINOYB, apart from the 'singles'. I think someone put it up on twitter the night the album leaked. I can still remember lying in bed at one in the morning, listening to it on repeat with a Huge smile on my face. Good times.

It's interesting that this has come out of the blue. I know nothing about Atom Factory, but looking at their website, the roster doesn't strike me as a natural home for Morrissey so this looks like a one off single. KMAL is a great tune, it helped me convince my other half to go to the o2, and she's been humming it ever since. This release just needs something new...artwork, a different mix, instrumental...anything

Atom Factory- good luck managing him.

Unless it's a new mix or live version, why the f*** should we buy it when most of us already own it, Morrissey?

I was just saying the same thing today. I'll download regardless and hope that it does well and it leads to more shows and more records.

atom factory is a mgt concern not a label, so not sure if it will under a label or diy. probably hopes to show prospective labels he can sell.

Thinking about it, I really wish it was being released as a proper CD single (US and UK) and 7 inch vinyl that we could purchase in stores.

I think he'd get most of us to repurchase if it were advertised as a different mix, or something. Or maybe "Buy 'KMAL' and get a free live version." Anything. I'm sorry, but I'm just not paying .99 or 1.29 for a song I've already bought three times. Sorry Moz.

It's not that I'm cheap. It just seems silly when you're the one living the high life in hotels and I'm sitting here in my office all day working. (well, okay, working and writing on message boards)

If it's a physical release we'd buy it but you don't need to own an mp3 twice, you just don't.

even if we all repurchased a physical release will still only loose money. if he wanted to actually make the damn thing chart, which is really pointless and not gonna happen now, he should add a soundboard recording. if he wanted to really just up sales units as data to persuade or influence elsewhere for whatever reason he should sell it, the single, at the show with a that night soundboard recording added to the disk. the single will sell and make the figure but people are really buying a personal nights live show with no editing read cost. market it as super personal, which it is if youre at the show, and if people crit the sound quality or the cheapness you just say thats what makes it personal and unpretentious an honest document

Also, it just says "the evening of March 26th" that it's available....what time is "evening" ?

to me the evening starts at five through common twilight. your comment reminds me of that movie near dark if you know what im talking about.

cheesy 80s vampire movie, not after dark, that has a funny bit about them arguing when exactly near dark was. not worth watching
