You probably do. "death cab for Cutie" sucks big elephant cocks. In 2 years, when they're all cleaning topilets for a living, you'll "love them" then too? They're a worthless corporate piece of shit band, with a catchy tune. Next thing you're going to tell me is you think Ashley Simson's "Punk" and you're a fan of hers?

Stick to '80s music, you can't go wrong.

i love you, too, quarrelsome, little improper pimp

"Do I need you? Oh my, do I, honey. 'deed I do!
Do I want you? Oh my, do I, honey? 'deed I do!
Do I love you? Oh my, do I, honey? 'deed I do!"

Shhhh! Or you might reveal your profound ignorance

They released 4 indie discs over 5 years before signing to Atlantic. You might want to have another good listen. They are about the only band in the last three years that have really produced a consistent intelligent and catchy product.

Of course that's just my opinion, which is a phrase YOU might start using.

You might try something like: "death cab for Cutie sucks big elephant cock in my opinion which is cemented in music made 20 years ago and limited by my inability to express myself in anything other than the vocabulary of a 14 year old trying to impress his friends down at the bowling alley"

Indie records, are usually crapola. I dont give 3 f***in shits about the band. Like i said, when they're all cleaning toilets at the local Red Lobster in 2 yrs, will you still "love them". I suppose dopes like you think Yellowcard are great too huh? Nice try imbecile.

"i'm watching you now
with a whole lotta' love to give
i'm half crazy; eyes are heavy.
if i can't be there with you, improper
i'd much rather be very dead"

Well, if they keep producing excellent, inventive records then yes, I'll still love them just as you love many of the 80's music deadbeats are currently cleaning toilets at Red Lobster.

If I can break out of my manically loving character for a moment, my love and loyalty is never with a band; it's with their songs. It doesn't matter to me if Death Cab ever made a good song before Plans or if they ever make one again. I love these songs, and they will stay with me always--even if they end up washing cars at a Quick-Warsh-n-Dry in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Soliloquy over.
