Why are the singles no longer released on 12" anymore?

Wait and they'll be. CDs are dying, vinyl is coming back. In the age of downloads people still want to have something tangible occasionally.
Statistics shows that CD sales are declining steadily, while the vinyl sales have been going up recently.

And whoever was complaining about releasing singles on vinyl (in the other thread), you better buy the turntable again now, you know you'll have to anyway.

nice examples are irish blood and first of the gang who both came as 12" year later after they were only released as 7" and cd1 and cd2....
maybe,50-50 are chances we'll see rott singles in 12" format...
it's my dream too,as i'm collecting mozza vinyls
