How The Mighty Have Fallen

You are defending a schizophrenic Nazi...

I know I shouldn't rise to such bait, but - schizophrenia is a mental disorder, relatively easy to medically identify in someone. If you know anything about the symptoms, you'll know Morrissey certainly doesn't suffer from it. And to be a Nazi (or National Socialist) you'd have to be a member of the Nazi Party which was dissolved in 1945.

So, wrong on both counts.

Think he meant to say moody control freak but it's not so catchy.

sigh... - Morrissey is getting alot of stick for banning davidt - I don't see why? davidt must have banned people from this site in the past?

Its interesting that whenever david was issued legal papers by Morrissey's solicitor he withdrew the offending artitcles immediately - it sugests to me that the claims had no basis? - surely if he is telling the truth he would have nothing to fear? Why would you put nasty stuff up on a fan site with no proof?

To claim leaks are not directly from this site is to aviod the responsibilty for displaying links to leaks - It seems the moderator cam merge threads in seconds so why can't they clean away the links and all the spite?

Why not be supportive to Morrissey instead of acting like a network of scandal mongers baying him toward retirement because you think its "damaging his legacy" - its ridiculous you could just leave him alone

People forgot about the abuse that "Julia" used to get on here - The reports on threads related to tour dates used to contain streams of abuse regularly - it was never addressed and still continues - the same goes for the band.

You do not come accross like people disappointed because they feel davidt has been let down or even like people who don't like some new songs by their favorite pop star. All this spline and name calling and accusation its more like you are half mad spurred lovers????
You all need to take a step back from the computer and relax - you don't need to come on here and say this stuff day after day, who are you trying to convice?
We can make up our own minds

Crtiizism of the songs is another thing - Morrissey has increasingly focused on vocal melodies - the new songs have some lovely vocal melodies - haven't you noticed? please point out some recent songs by other artists with vocal melodies like that - I'd love to hear them

Anyone would miss Marr....the greatest guitarist ever.

How can anyone say Marr is superior to Hendrix, Page, even Squire?

Hendrix could compose virtual symphonies with his guitar, and keep the entire audience hanging on every note without another instrument or murmur of a voice.

Marr was just a brilliantly competent indie guitarist, nothing more. Great strumming, some lovely original sounds and solos. But he's no Hendrix.

First off, Morrissey became a myth as Bowie. Reed. Patti Smith et alli. Of course there're many things sorround him and that make him thinking like he does. I agree that he is completely wrong in throwing fans out of his gigs. I reckon Morrissey thinks he is allowed to do whatever he wants but it's necessary right. When he named Chinese as sub-species everyone knows what happened. I'm pretty sure he doesn't seem to be aware of the consequences of his words and attitudes.

Your post reminded me of another band I like, Faith No More. Here is the list of their compilation albums:

1998 Who Cares a Lot: Greatest Hits
2003 This Is It: The Best of Faith No More
2005 Epic and Other Hits
2006 Platinum Collection
2008 The Works
2009 The Very Best Definitive Ultimate Greatest Hits Collection
2009 Rhino Classic Albums Collection [f.y.e. Exclusive]
2010 Midlife Crisis: The Very Best of Faith No More

I particularly like the title, "The Very Best Definitive Ultimate Greatest Hits Collection." Too bad it's already taken, it would make a a nice name for the next Moz compilation album.
