I had forgot I was given this single a few years ago and just looked it up on youtube. Can any of our German friends translate (SisterSheila, Walkers Crisp)?

The band is Farin Urland and the song is 'Sumisu'

During the Bela Lugosi style video, the album covers for The Queen Is Dead and Rank (Rankle) are included and the women is stitching a Morrissey pattern.

'manchmal auch the Cure oder New Order'

What good practice for me! I think those two lines mean 'and there we hear the Smiths' and 'sometimes the Cure and New Order too.'

the singer`s name farin urlaub is a wordplay :
farin urlaub -fahr in urlaub= means in english: Go on holiday /to take a holiday
the singer claims to take holdays for a long time every year
the singer(this was the debutsingle ,released 2001,of his solo project) normally fronts a pop fun"punk"band,called "die Ärzte" existing Since 25 (?) years ,known for their very funny lyrics. also the guys themselves are very entertaining, off and onstage
every GERMAN 14 year old is suppose the have at least one album(by law,hahaha) of them, a very
popular band here

i don't really like his translation and sounds, tough :..
but farin urlaub rocks !!!
