As above, it is indeed standing.
I went to see New Order last week and as you are on the concourse and going into the standing area, they take your ticket off you and put a wrist band on for when you come back out for a drink or the bog.
At the end, there will be a member of staff dishing out the tickets. I always keep my ticket perfectly neat and tidy for my collection and end up with a shitty one given back to me.....
